Debunking the Conspiracy Theory of the Missile Attack on the Pentagon on September 11th, 2001

The tragic events of September 11th, 2001, still resonate in the minds of many people around the world. Among the many theories and conspiracies surrounding the attacks, one of the most persistent is the claim that the damage to the Pentagon was not caused by a hijacked commercial aircraft but instead by a missile. However, this theory is not supported by credible evidence and has been thoroughly discredited by official investigations and independent experts.

The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) conducted a comprehensive investigation into the collapse of the World Trade Center towers and the attack on the Pentagon. The NIST used physical evidence, eyewitness accounts, and the expertise of hundreds of engineers and scientists to reach its conclusion that American Airlines Flight 77, a Boeing 757, was the source of the damage to the Pentagon. The extensive physical evidence collected and analyzed during the investigation, including airplane parts and human remains, supports the conclusion that a commercial aircraft was involved in the attack.

Additionally, numerous eyewitnesses reported seeing a commercial airplane, similar in appearance to American Airlines Flight 77, approaching the Pentagon before the crash. Radar data also confirms that a commercial aircraft was in the area at the time of the attack. This evidence, along with the findings of the NIST investigation, clearly refute the notion that a missile was involved in the attack on the Pentagon.

It is essential to rely on credible and established sources of information and to be cautious of conspiracy theories that are not based on evidence. Such theories often rely on speculation, misinformation, and a lack of understanding of the available data. The events of September 11th were a tragedy that resulted in the loss of thousands of innocent lives, and it is important to ensure that the truth about what happened that day is accurately remembered and understood.

In conclusion, the theory that a missile, not a hijacked commercial aircraft, was responsible for the attack on the Pentagon on September 11th, 2001, is not supported by credible evidence and has been thoroughly discredited by official investigations and independent experts. The evidence clearly supports the conclusion that American Airlines Flight 77 was the source of the damage to the Pentagon.
